I dare to introduce a little humour into the “snatching away” scenario.
There was a gentleman, Pat, I have it for a fact, in Galway in west of Ireland here .. who claimed that unaided by mechanical or other props he had learned to fly. He was laughed at and scoffed but all to no avail. Eventually he infuriated his fellow students so much they invited an expert on the very topic of “Flying” to speak at their annual think in. They figured this would finally put an end to Pat’s nonsensee. However in the middle of his speech Pat came into the hall and flew up to the rafters and out a top window.
I think those of us gifted by God with revelation in the Snatching away will soon, like Pat, enjoy entering demonstration mode

I’m thinking that “twinkle” is some de-evolution of the word “wink” …
But I appreiate it Martin, that you dont hesitate to rightly critique the CLNT; if not the Dabhar translation, it is indeed, one of the best translations we have … but obviously, it too, has it’s problems. That is, “truth will out,” and we have to be painfully honest, not “loyal” in our search for the ever better reading of God’s word, especially that from our apostle Paul.
With that said, the word is, indeed, not “twinkle,” but rather “toss” … which is how I’m currently reading it in my own translation, directly from the Byzantine Greek:
“Be you regarding – to a secret I say unto you:
[we] all indeed, we will be reposed not,
yet [we] all, we will be changed,
in an instant [manner], at [the] toss of an eye, at the last shofar.
For there will shofar,
and the dead [ones] will be roused incorruptible,
and we [all] will be changed.” (~Robin)
You’re doing us a great service, Martin … thank you; take care of yourself, be at peace.

I get “toss” as opposed to “twinkle”, however, toss has absolutely no sex appeal. When Hillary Clinton tossed her hat into the ring, I tossed my cookies. See what I mean?
Since my wife died, I still have not been able to tell my kids that their mom is dead, that she did not “go” to heaven. Of course that (heaven) is what was expressed by everyone at the funeral.
Life is so miserable anyway. Is it okay if, for now, I hold on to words like “twinkle”, and my kids hold on to “heaven”?
