Why does clouds have to be figurative or real? Why can’t they be both?
Those who stabbed him – represented by that Roman centurian – and those who gave him up. That would include all the people of the Prince to come, the One who confirmed the covenant, who (all of them: Israel North (lost ten tribes) and Israel South (the Jews) would destroy the temple/sanctuary of God (Jesus Christ) and also the city, thus fulfilling Daniel 9:27. And those who stabbed him are the very ones who will be the ten kings of Revelation 17:16 who will soon be coming to liberate Jerusalem from all of her enemies. These are the armies of the North – spoken of by Jeremiah and Jesus in Jeremiah 1:14-16 and Luke 21:20 respectively.
