Martin I have always believed that when the scriptures mention Israel, it was referring to the ones that the blessings of Israel were handed down too. Ephraim, and Manasseh , were the ones blessed with the promise. If one reads the promises given to these 2, it will identify who Israel is. it is the Unite States, (Manasseh), and Great Briton (Ephraim), Ephraim was to be the greatest nation ever on earth, controlling all the major sea ports, which they did at one point, Manasseh was to be the richest in terms of material wealth, to where the food would rot on the shelves. The United States is the only nation that ever achieved this level of wealth. So when Israel is referred to it is them. The tiny nation of Israel is only Jude, and Benjamin.
