Hi Martin, I was a bit puzzled that you said at least 4 times that Satan will be in the lake of fire for 2 eons. You meant to say 1 eon right … as the lake of fire commences at the beginning of the 5th and last eon?
“Incorrigible” is the word used by JW’s when speaking of those that God can’t/won’t save. The annihilationists like to call them “the finally impenitent.” (apply British accent) “Oh, those terms make one sound so theological and astute.” Vo-mit!
Martin, you are right. Mankind gives up on others and labels them a “lost cause.” God knows no lost causes.
The lake of fire is active before the millennium (Rev. 19:20). Satan will be cast into the lake of fire for the latter part of the next eon after the millennium (Rev. 20:10). The millennium is part of the next eon, not the full eon. The great white throne era is the latter part of the next eon. And Satan will be there through the final eon. So, he is in the lake of fire for part of the 4th eon and all of the 5th eon, thus he “shall be tormented day and night for the eons of the eons.” He will be made right at the consummation of the eons (1 Corinthians 15:20-28).
