A.E. Knock is great but on the issue of the 7 churches and Israel, I think he left Kansas for a rabbit hole. That the 7 churches of Asia are manifested at the end as Jewish congregations dismisses too much history of Christianity; the turning from Paul, the formulation of Christendom after the manner of babylonian Jewish traditions with synagogues becoming legal in a hostile Rome.
Also, to think that the modern state of Israel is a false fulfillment of prophecy rather than the out workings and beginnings of consummating the prophecies is to cast off reasoning of God’s sovereignty over the earth and the nations.
I believe an erroneous understanding of Daniel 7 is one cause for this thinking.
A.E. Knock couldn’t see it perhaps, not due to any character fault in him but just the context of his own life and times. We have higher peaks from which to view things now.

Great teachings Martin. I often thought that the modern Israel were not the real deal. Now you’ve put some flesh onto my bones!
there is another group besides Israel that suffers from the Sykes Picot agreement; it is the Kurds, which is the main reason why their are being persecuted now by ISIS, now the Kurds building their own Zapatistas like autonomy in an Jihad islamic climate.
