The really important thing for them is that Jesus’ return was imminent. As soon as death closes their eyes, they will hear Jesus call their name. Even in the case of the death of a believer 2000 years ago, as soon as they die, they hear the call. That’s the beauty of hades, not perceiving, not seeing, not knowing anything (Ecc. 9:5) it makes the return of Jesus extremely immediate. Paul died and in his perception, immediately he is caught up from the grave. No, the return of Christ hasn’t happened yet, but yes, to believers who die, they will instantly (in their perception) be with Christ not matter how many years pass.
So sorry for your loss of fellowship and friendship with your dear brothers in Christ,am sad for you and jealous of them…we who are left will certainly not proceed those who have fallen asleep.Just being still and knowing God until Jesus returns
Thank-you Martin, that was beautiful! And to rest in our Father, knowing that All, family, friends, All…, will be brought back into Him, in Father’s time, no one will be left out! And that ALL is of Him, it will ALL bring glory, honor and praise to our Father and Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior one wonderful day. I am so looking forward to that day.
My life is a living Hell, Martin. God brought me here to assuage my concerns. I’m thankful for you, for cigars, and for this container of Ben & Jerry’s.
My tears were hitting the keyboard as I watched and listened to this edition of the Unveiling.
Thank you so much.
